Is there a way to tell that a feature's geometry has changed?

In the process of extending DotSpatial.Data.Database (interim) solution (see: http://dotspatial.codeplex.com/workitem/206) capable of writing, I was wondering if there is a way to tell that a features geometry has changed.

Maybe something like System.Data.DataTable's GetChanges() function?

Dear FObermaier,

You can see the following project:

ChunMap

Hope it serves you.

That is not a project that uses DotSpatial, is it?

What I mean is, is there some variable that a features geometry has changed, or some function returning the changed features?

I don't know friend, but only is for reference if it could be useful for you. It uses an PostGISDataReader class to manage the geometries from a PostGIS Database.

Could you explain better what is your request? Do you want to get the change in the WKT or WKB strings or in edit mode?

Maybe useful to create a history (in some of steps you could maintain the history of changes using any patterns) changes and later write into a String and compare it using a text compare method.

I have not much knowledge about it, but If I can help you, ask in the phorum and at the moment that I know anything about it maybe help you.
