Projection does not work for some datasets

description

The attached shapefile does not project properly in the current version of HydroDesktop 1.4.11.1. This is data from the Upper Colorado river basin projected in a USGS Albers Projection, but it shows up in the Gulf of Mexico.

Hi I have changed the .prj file, and now it is projected correctly.. There are few differeces between both prj files

Before closing the issue could you please let me know what the differences in the prj files were and why the original prj file displayed correctly in ArcGIS but not in .Spatial/HydroDesktop. "few differences"? Sometimes one small difference can have a big effect.
