Map Layout usability issues

  1. It is difficult to find the layout. Many users don't expect it to be found under "Print".
    I suggest a menu File - Map Layout or File - Layout and also add a "View Map Layout" to the Home root item.
  2. Users have a hard time figuring out how to insert a map to the layout (The "Insert map" icon is not very obvious) I suggest adding an "Insert" menu with Insert-Map, Insert-Legend, Insert-Scale Bar, Insert-Text, Insert-North Arrow submenu items. This would make the usage similar to Word, Excel, power point or other software where users insert items to the document layout.
  3. The placement of the toolstrips is ugly. All toolstrips should be in one line to save screen space (see attached screenshot)
