Cannot open source code for DemoMap

Jun 19, 2013 at 4:42 PM
Dear all,

I have downloaded the source code of Dotspatial. I am quite interested in the application of DemoMap and I want to know how the codes are implemented in the software. Then I used Visual studio 2012 to open the DemoMap project (.csproj file) in sources codes (In Dotspatial.Examples.DemoMap file).

but when I tried to open, I found it pops up a message and shows:

"The imported project "D:\Development\Dotspatialfullcode\Dotspatial.Examples.DemoMap.nuget\nuget.targets" was not found. Confirm that the path in the <import>declaration is correct, and that the file exists on disk. D\Development\dotspatial-fullcode\Dotspatial.Examples.DemoMap\DemoMap.csproj".

I am not sure why this happens? Looking forward for helps from you!

you need to fix the reference. here is a simpler way to fix the problem. start with empty c:\dev

unzip dotspatial1.4_minimal to c:\dev
unzip dotspatial1.4 extended to c:\dev
unzip dotspatial-72399 to c:\dev

remove "read only" attribute for c:\dev and subdirectories and files.
load DotSpatial-vs2010 into vs2012
rebuild solution <------ this step put the support DLLs into proper directory

run demomap in c:\dev\debug\bin to ensure all functions are working
