I want to add different type of symbol on map instead of adding point.

As I am creating software for coal mine so I want to add symbols of crossing airway, blocked airway etc....

can I replace point with my own image and import it on Map using dotspatial.....

Yep, this can be done by using an overload of the PointSymbolizer

myLayer.Symbolizer = new PointSymbolizer(Images.Tiger, 48);
