This project is read-only.

get only 1 band when open raster data?

Nov 1, 2011 at 3:51 PM

when i use gdalrasterprovider to open a multi-band raster data, the function only returns the 1st band.

is there something i can do to solve this?

and i tried to open the same multi-band raster data with GdalImageProvider, the result was right, but

i found there is something wrong when i saved the project(.dspx)

so ,the question is ,how can i solve this problem ,thank you very much

Our use of Gdal is incomplete. The providers need to be modified to support multiple bands and file-based reading.

Hi,

I'm facing the same problem as I've reported in http://dotspatial.codeplex.com/discussions/275165

I am also waiting for this implementation.

It's a pitty only use DotSpatial with small images... (without GDAL).

I agree that large-mutliband-TIFFs support is the most important too.
It seems to me this must to be the first task in spatial analysis and in Dotspatial development.
