Where can I find commends and methods for using multi-point features and objects of DotSpatials?

Hi all,

I think that a city in USA is a multi-point feature (or object) in DotSpatial.  I want to treat a city in USA as a point and connect 5 cites in a line for a shapefile and a map.  Where can I find commands and methods for using multi-points features (or objects) of DotSpatial?  Please kindly help and advise.

Thanks,

Scott Chang

Could you clarify your question?    Do you want to take five separate point features and merge them into a single features with five points?  Are you trying to create a line string, a polygon or a multi-part point feature.  i.e. 5 points in a single feature?

Hi keenedge,  Thanks for your response.

I want to create a line string, a polygon or a multi-part point feature.  i.e. 5 points in a single feature.  For example, a line string connects Baltimore, Atlanta, Omaha, Denver and Seattle on a layer.   Please help me and respond again.

Thanks,
